Julia Codianne

Julia Codianne is a second-year fashion design student at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, working toward her BFA in Fashion Design with an expected graduation in Spring 2029.

What draws her to fashion is the making itself. She likes studying how a fabric behaves, getting the construction right, and finishing a piece well enough that it holds up to a close look.

At FIT, her coursework covers garment construction, draping, patternmaking, and fashion illustration, along with producing garment specifications and technical flats.

Julia is currently looking for internships with design houses, ateliers, and brands where she can support design and product development teams. She pays close attention to detail, works well with others, and enjoys the day-to-day work that goes into building a collection.

She lives in New York City and is always happy to talk about internships, freelance projects, and collaborations.
